Here's a 2019 list of fun Easter events for kids and families in Mission Viejo and Orange County!

It's that time of year, when all the flowers are in bloom and the sun shines warmly - and in Southern California I know we are all ready for it!  With Spring time of course comes many fun Easter and Spring related events around Orange County that allow children and families to celebrate the season change.  At Sunshine Smiles we decided to round up a list of the best 10 Easter/Spring related events so you could see all of your options in one place.  All events are in Orange County, a few even in our home city of Mission Viejo! So grab your calendar and get to putting some fun on your agenda!

Mad Hatter Children's Tea Party

Location: Lago Santa Margarita Beach Club

21472 Avenida De Los Fundadores, Rancho Santa Margarita

Date & Time: Saturday March 23,2019 from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Cost: $10 per person (maximum of 6 tickets per household, children under 12 months are free)

Info: A chance to dress in your best High Tea attire and enjoy a beautiful tea time complete with lunch and treats, plus photo opportunities, games, and crafts. Must purchase tickets before hand prior to Friday, March 15 by calling 949-858-1390.

Bunny Blast: A Seuss Eggstravaganza

Location: El Toro Park

23701 Los Alisos Blvd., Lake Forest

Date & Time: April 6, 2019 from 10:00 AM- 3:00 PM

Cost: $10 for a wristband (unlimited games and rides, CASH only!)

Info: A Dr. Seuss festival sure to please any child, complete with games, rides, music, and egg collecting stations for the first 1,000 participants!

Spring Celebration And Pancake Breakfast

Location: Aliso Viejo Grand Park/ Town Center Amphitheater 

6101 City Lights Dr., Aliso Viejo

Date & Time: April 6, 2019 from 9:00 AM- 11:30 AM

Cost: There is no cost - however to register for the Egg Hunt you must be a dues paying Aliso Viejo Community Association member

Info: This celebration is open to the public (except for the Egg Hunt which is for AVCA members only) and includes a pancake breakfast, face painting, photo opportunities with Peter Rabbit, balloon twisting and more!

Bunny Bonanza 

Location: Chapparosa Park

Cost: Free

Info: Come see the Easter Bunny and enjoy games, crafts, face painting, and a "Touch A Truck" experience where children can interact with actual city work trucks!

Mayor's Egg Roll On The Civic Green 

Location: Civic Green

Cost: Free

Etnies Egg-cellent Egg Hunt & Festival Of Colors

Location: Etnies Skatepark

Date & Time: April 20, 2019 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Cost: $5.00 per person

Info: This promises to be a fun and memorable event with an egg hunt (one for those 4 years and younger as well as one for kids all ages), bounce houses, games, crafts, and a color blast (so come dressed to be covered in color!).  Egg hunt begins at 11:15 and color blast begins at noon!

Bunny Days

Location: Norman P. Murray Community Center

Info: This celebration has it all: carnival games, bunny photo opportunities, crafts, bubble making, a petting zoo, live music, and an egg hunt for children 11 and under!

Pretend City Children's Museum Easter Celebration

Location: Pretend City Children's Museum

29 Hubble, Irvine

Date & Time: Saturday April 20, 2019 from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Cost: All activities included with the price of admission - $13.75 per person over 12 months old (12 months and younger are free)

Info: Enjoy special dancing, music, games, a special Bunny character appearance, and egg decorating/crafts in addition to all the fun exhibits already in place at the museum!
