We have put together a complete list of summer camp options in Mission Viejo for 2019!

Well is it just me or did this past school year FLY right on by!?  After realizing that there were only 5 weeks left of the school year, my husband I have begun the search (perhaps a little late I know) for some summer camp options for the girls to keep active with others their age.  I quickly realized that there were soooo many options in Orange County that I thought it would be good to narrow it down a bit and make a list just for Mission Viejo for those people that want to stay close to home.  So here you are, a comprehensive 2019 list of the area summer camps around Mission Viejo.  There is bound to be something in this list to appeal to everyone, no matter what age or interest.  Also- if we have left off a Mission Viejo summer camp that you know about, please be sure to let us know so we can add it!  Summer livin' and summer lovin'.... here we come!

Lake Mission Viejo Camp Co Day Camp

Ages: 5-12 ** This camp is for those that are members of Lake Mission Viejo and Their Guests

Dates/Times: Weekly From June 17-August 16 With Various Time Options As Well As Daily Drop In Options

Cost: Varies From $50 daily-$250 Weekly (Guests of members will have a 20% fee increase for facility and equipment use)

This is one of Mission Viejo's most popular summer day camps for a good reason!  Children participate in various outdoor activities, science projects, games and crafts.  Swimming along North Beach also happens daily while younger kiddos also get to go out on boats while older kiddos can go out on pedal boats and kayaks.

The Julie Foundy Soccer Day Camp

Age: Girls Ages 8-16

Dates/Times: July 22-25, 2019

Cost: $395

This week long soccer camp has soccer coaches from all levels of the game teaching young girls the techniques of the game. In addition to technical skills the camp participants also learn time management, training habits, nutrition goals, and more!

Summer Camp Guide For Mission Viejo

Camp Invention

Ages: K-6th Grade

Dates/Times: June 10- June 14 2019 from 9:00-3:30 PM

Cost: $300

This STEM camp teaches problem solving, creativity, innovation, and technical skills in a fun and exciting way!  Keep you children's mind's active while they build confidence and self esteem!

Drama Kids Musical Theater Camp

Ages: 6-12

Dates/Time: Runs June 24-July 26 (5 days per week) from 9:00-3:00 PM

Cost: $300/week

Different productions/themes each week that culminate in a fun performance at the end of the week that family and friends can attend!  Weekly themes include Alice in Wonderland, The Jungle Book, and The Wizard of Oz.

Nadadores Swim Camp

Ages: 4 and up (Beginner to Advanced Swimmers)

Dates/Times: Half Day Camps Run June 17- August 16 from 9:00-12:00 PM (with extended care until 1:00 PM available)

Cost: $269/ Week With An Extra $15/day For Extended Care OR 4 day Camp $216

This camp is perfect for combining swimming lessons/skills sharpening and lots of fun! Everyday consists of a one hour swim lesson followed by water play, snacks, and crafts.The camp has a ratio of 4:1 instructor ratio and lifeguards on duty.

Mission Viejo YMCA Summer Camp

Ages: Grades K-8

Time/Dates: 5 Days A Week Beginning June 10  Full Time Or Part Time, Monthly and Drop In Rates Available

Cost: Based On Your Custom Schedule Of Attendance

With so many flexible schedule options and a wide variety of activities and field trips planned - the YMCA has a camp for everyone this summer!  A STEAM curriculum and a special service learning project will be the foundation of the camp while many other on site/off site and club interests options will be available!

Discount: Register by May 15 and save $100!

Mission Viejo Summer Camp Options List

Stratford Schools Summer Camp

Ages: Preschool-9th Grade

Dates/Times: June-August (Various Times and Dates To Choose From)

Cost: Varies According To Program And Dates/Times Chosen

For a full learning and mind enriching experience this summer you can send your children to one of Stratford School's summer programs. Various programs are available including things such as Kindergarten prep, Summer STEAM, Art & Languages Camps, Debate, High School Prep, and many more!

Fusion Academy

Ages: Grades 6-12 (and up... for older children looking for a bit more intellectual stimulation)

Dates/Times: Vary Based On Chosen Courses

Cost: Vary Based On Chosen Courses

Fusion Academy has over 250 courses designed to help older children refine educational skills or learn a new hobby.  Various courses are available including those such as Digital Photography, Musical Instrument Courses, Foreign Language Courses, Robotics, Calculus, Poetry, Screenwriting, Animation, and so many more!  Courses for class credit as well as test prep are also available.

Bold Girlz - Summer Fashionista FUN

Ages: 6-11 

Dates/Times: Camps Run Weekly From June 24- August 30 2019 from 9:30-1:30 daily.

Cost: $225/Week (See The Early Bird Special Below) *This price is for the Mission Viejo location only

This fun camp will allow your child's diva side to come out as they enjoy crafts, activities, dress up, hair styling, and fashion shows each day!  Activities include such things as T-shirt and jewelry making, and other such fashion forward crafts.

Early Bird Special: Register by June 1,2019 and get the special weekly rate of $179! 

Rest assured that if you did not find a summer camp listed to suit your family's needs, there are many more options in the surrounding areas!  In fact, a search for Orange County Summer Camps can actually be quite overwhelming!  No matter how you choose to spend your summer, we wish you a very Happy, Healthy, and Safe summer!  PS.... be sure to exercise extreme cautions jumping into pools/lakes and on water slides as this is the number one reason for tooth injuries during the summer time!
